Although the cable connection restricts mobility, it has two advantages: firstly, the transmission quality gains in stability, and secondly, it conserves the battery compared to the wireless connection. So you are all the better equipped in case you want to use the speaker as a reliable PC amplifier or in a stationary way on your laptop at a birthday party.
